Former Franklin County Director of Planning and Zoning Larry Walrod has passed away. Larry worked for the County for 21 years going above and beyond to serve the citizens. Throughout his tenure, he was known for his willingness to work with property owners to “find a way” to accomplish their objectives. Walrod retired in July and Franklin County Administrator Derek Brown says he is grateful for his service:
Services for Walford will be held at 1:00 in the afternoon, Saturday, March 5th at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory in Pleasanton. Visitation from noon to service time. Burial will be at Prescott Cemetery. He was 83 years old.
