Of all the surrounding counties, Franklin County is apparently lowest on the totem pole when it comes to employee pay. County Administrator, Derek Brown, says it’s a vexing situation:
Brown says the County has squeezed about all they can from savings brought about by improving efficiencies and other solutions need to be studied.
