An accident in Osage County Saturday, was fatal to a Topeka woman. Just before noon, Osage County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a single car accident in the 20800 block of Urish Road, near Osage City. The driver of the vehicle, 32 year old Deanna Smith of Topeka, left the roadway for an unknown reason. She died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
The Osage County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Osage County EMS, Osage County Fire District #6 and the Kansas Highway Patrol. The accident is still under investigation.
