the City of Ottawa and Evergy are entering into a Preliminary Memorandum of Understanding to explore installing a solar array that could, one day, be owned by the City. The one ‘no’ vote against the array cam from City Commissioner, Mike Skidmore. He says he still has some problems with the project:
Skidmore says his main objection is the cost that high interest rates could add to the overall price tag of the project.
