The Ottawa Police Department has announced that a very important part of the education programing is back. The McGruff Club is making its return after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic. The event will be held on Saturday, March 19th during the USD 290 School Spring Break. Some special guests will make an appearance, including Mister Stinky Feet. The Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks will give a presentation with live animals.
More fun will be announced as the day draws closer, including prizes and a bike give-away. Registration is that morning at 8:30 and the event will run until noon, at the Ottawa Memorial Auditorium.
