With a significant outbreak of fatal tornadoes this past Sunday in Iowa and other states, USDA Meteorologist Brad Rippey discusses the weekends weather pattern across the Midwest and how normally this time of year, severe weather is in the south.
Last year in Kansas, there were four tornadoes in March. The highest number occurred in May, with 18, nearly half of the states total tornadoes in 2021.
