Spring Break has been in full swing in Ottawa and the surrounding area, all week. Today offered more awesome activities and free meals for kids of all ages.
The Ottawa Library will offer a free meal for kids from 3:30 to 4:30 this afternoon, then tonight a special event called “Glow Prom”. A prom for the whole family to enjoy, sponsored by the Lost and Found Youth Organization. Representative Joshua Nelson with a preview:
The Glow Prom will be held tonight from 6:00 to 9:00 at the Don Woodward Center.
Tomorrow, the return of the McGruff Club, after a two year absence. An appearance by Mister Stinky Feet, a presentation from the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks, with live animals, prizes and a big bike giveaway. Registration is tomorrow morning at 8:30 and the event will run until noon at the the Ottawa Memorial Auditorium.
