The Annual Franklin County Career Day is back at Ottawa High this year, after a year off due to the pandemic. This year, all the high schools in Franklin County are taking part. Juniors and Seniors from Ottawa, West Franklin, Central Heights and Wellsville will be on hand for a series of sessions presenting students with career opportunities in Franklin County. Ottawa High Principal, Kelly Whitaker:
“Kansas Works” will also be on hand to help students apply for jobs. The Franklin County Development Council has teamed with Ottawa High to show students they don’t have to move away to find a good job. There are plenty of good paying jobs right here in Franklin County.
