The Franklin County Career Day was held at Ottawa High School yesterday. Juniors and Seniors from all the County high schools were on hand to hear from business and industry in our County, showing the students what is available in the job market, right here at home. The Franklin County Development Council and USD 290 coordinated over 70 local businesses and industries to come together for the day. The ultimate goal was to show students that you don’t have to move away to find a good paying career. There are plenty of opportunities in Franklin County.
