The Ottawa City Commission has selected a new commissioner to fill the unexpired term of Tom Weigand. Ottawa Mayor, Eric Crowley, made the announcement during the Regular Study Session:
The Commission selected Clayton largely on the basis that he ran for Commissioner in the last election. The Official Seating of Clayton will take place at the City Commission Meeting, April 6th; although, he could be sworn in at the Study Session on April 4th.
