The Ottawa Farmer’s Market is set to open for the season on May 4th and a new ‘old’ vendor will be back. Louisburg Cider Mill has announced they will offer their products at the Ottawa Market.

Louisburg Cider Mill has been pressing apples since 1977, but haven’t been growing them. That all changed recently when they purchased Pome on the Range, south of Ottawa. They now have an orchard to grow the apples to make their delicious cider, lemonade and other products. Officials from the Louisburg Cider Mill say they are excited to finally be able to grow apples and will offer a U-Pick experience to customers, along with fresh produce grown in the orchard. They say the winery will continue to operate at Pome on the Range also.

Look for their products, along with many other vendors, offering fresh vegetables, house plants, elk meat, locally grown honey, garden plants, baked goods and many more items at the Ottawa Farmers Market.
