USD 290 is in project mode. Many of the projects are routine, painting, flooring, things like that. The District has a healthy Capital Outlay Budget, thanks in part to the Bond Issue Project that allowed them to do some bigger projects without using Capital Funds. Superintendent Dr. Ryan Cobbs, says there are some other areas that need attention:
Everything from replacing a floor in a gym, HVAC systems, emblems on walls, drainage issues, padding under basketball goals– are on the list of possible projects.
