Although leads continue to come in from companies interested in Proximity Park, marketing the facility continues to be a challenge. Franklin County Development Council President, Paul Bean,, told the Ottawa City Commission that he recently had a conversation with someone who wants to market the Park:
Several Commissioners expressed opposition to hiring anyone to market the Park, because everything is being done on the local level to get companies interested in the facility.
