We are in Child Care Crisis in America and that includes Franklin County. An upcoming meeting will address the issue. Anyone who has interest in child care, whether you are a provider, a family in need of child care, maybe you are interested in opening your own business, or a person who has ideas on how to recruit and retain child care providers, you are invited to this meeting. Frontier Extension District Agent, Rebecca McFarland, says being able to find child care impacts us all, including businesses:
The meeting, sponsored by the K-State Extension office, ECKAN, and Franklin County Economic Development Council, will be held Monday evening from 6:30 to 8:30. Everyone is welcome to come express their concerns as well as provide ideas that may ease the crisis.
