A report of a fire at the Walmart store in South Ottawa turned out to be not as serious as it could have been. KOFO’s Milton Ammel spoke with Ottawa Fire Chief, Tim Mathias on scene. Mathias says a small fire broke out in some equipment:
The fire occurred in the northeast section of the store. The store was evacuated for about 30 minutes and no injures were reported.
