At the final Legislative Coffee, held at Ottawa City Hall, Saturday, 59th District Representative Blaine Finch says he doesn’t like the States new Senate Redistricting Map, which moves Franklin County west and north into Osage and Shawnee; but, the U. S. Congressional map moves Franklin toward the metro area, which Finch believes is where Franklin County needs to be.
Senator Caryn Tyson did not support the Senate Realignment maps either, as it drew both Representative Finch and Mark Samsel out of the 12th District she represents.
