It looks like the plan to expand the C & D Landfill could get a re-visit, following the Franklin County Commission’s decision to buy 62 acres of land north of the landfill. County Administrator Derek Brown says the opportunity was somewhat unexpected:
The County will pay $5,000 an acre, making the total purchase price a little over $300,000.
