April is “Stress Awareness Month” and it’s not just about income taxes being due Another major source of stress the past two years has been the COVID 19 pandemic. Jamie Copaken, a psychotherapist with the University of Kansas Health System, says that the reasons for stressing over the pandemic are two-fold:

If you are feeling stress, it’s important to talk with someone about it. If friends and loved ones can’t ease that stress, don’t be afraid to talk it over with a mental health worker or your doctor. Stress can lead to further health issues and need to be addressed as soon as possible.
