Anderson County law enforcement is still investigating a one vehicle rollover accident at 169 Highway and Vermont Road. The crash occurred at about 5:30 yesterday afternoon. Anderson County Emergency Management reports the driver of the vehicle fled the scene of the accident on foot.
Officers from several law enforcement agencies, using drones and canine units, did an extensive search for the person who fled the scene. Yesterday evening, just before 7:00, they asked everyone in and around Greeley area to make sure their vehicles and buildings were locked while they searched the area.
The man is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, wearing a bright high visibility shirt, blue jeans and a reddish beard. As of this morning at 10:20, that person had not been located. The investigation into the whereabouts of the man will continue today.
