An Ottawa Garfield Elementary Special Education teacher wants to be on the Accessibility Advisory Board, to help spur accommodations for the disabled. Ashley Gillaspie appeared before the Ottawa City Commission to interview for the spot. She says the City needs to do more for people in wheelchairs:
