An accident late Monday afternoon sent a Pomona man to the hospital. At 5:00 Monday afternoon, 63 year old Steven Davis of Pomona, was southbound in the 2800 block of Idaho Road , when his vehicle left the roadway for unknown reasons, and hit a bridge. Davis was transported to Advent Health Ottawa for treatment of injuries he sustained in the crash. They were reported to be minor injuries.
The accident is under investigation by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office. No word on damage sustained to his car or the bridge.
