Sometimes it’s the little things that make a big difference in our lives and many times we take those things for granted, until those things don’t work. Case in point… water and sewer. After the Ottawa water distribution and sewer collection division received the Kansas Water Environment Association Collection System Award, Ottawa City Manager, Richard Nienstedt, commented that these workers sacrifice for everyone:
The Annual Award is presented to a collections system, individual or municipality for an outstanding or significant contribution in the area of wastewater collection. Ottawa also won the award in 2018.
