Kevin Houk, 44 of Pomona, was driving a truck and was hit by a train early this morning. Houk was driving west on K-68 in a 2015 Ram and attempted to maneuver his vehicle around a train that was parked on the tracks. While he was doing so, the vehicle became high centered on the train tracks. A train traveling southwest approached and struck Houk’s vehicle. Houk was transported to Advent Health Ottawa for injuries he obtained in the accident. The case is currently under investigation.
