If the discussion at the Wellsville City Council meeting is any indication, persuading the City Council to contribute $10,000 for a mere permanent Community Coordinator is unlikely to happen. The position has been proposed by the Chamber of Commerce, as a way to promote Downtown Wellsville and related activities. At the City Council Meeting, Mayor Bill Lytle told Chamber President Susan Stueve that he doesn’t see much results from the coordinator so far:
The Council will review a proposed job description for the Coordinator position, but it appears unlikely the City will fund it.
