An $80,000 Compensation Study proposed by the Ottawa Human Resources Department is going down hard with City Commissioners. At the Regular Commission Study Session, Ottawa Mayor, Eric Crowley, said he couldn’t see why the Pay Study couldn’t be done in-house.
Some Commissioners proposed a Pay Study only involving City Departments experiencing high turnover, as a way of reducing the overall cost of the study.
