There has been some movement on the Econo-Lodge project being converted into a multi-family housing unit. Ottawa Community Development Director, Michael Hall, says the Planning Commission has taken action to waive the three acre minimum, which has delayed the project:
The City Commission has to sign off on the recommended actions before the project can actually move forward.
