USD 290 is losing a member of its administration. Assistant Superintendent Josh Robinson will be leaving the district and heading to Spring Hill USD 230 to take over as Assistant Super there. Robinson has worked as the Assistant Superintendent for the Ottawa School District since 2018 and has also served as the Special Services Director for six years. He has spent a total of 22 years in education, holding other positions which include principal and elementary teacher.

Robinson received his Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Ottawa University in 2000 and his Masters from the University of Cincinnati in 2007 and finally his Doctoral Degree in School Leadership from Baker in 2021, in both Building and District Leadership.

Spring Hill Superintendent, Dr. Link Lutrell, says Robinson’s knowledge, experience and energy will be beneficial for students and staff alike. Robinson will begin his duties in Spring Hill on July 1st.
