One thing that will cost the Ottawa Police Department in the years ahead, is repairing damage to the department building. Ottawa Police Chief, Adam Weingartner, says a lot of damage comes from the 2019 flood:
Overall, the police department is asking for around $441,000 budget increase over the 2022 budget.
