The effort to widen Old 50 Highway continues progressing. Franklin County Public Works Director, David Lee, told the County Commission that so far the engineering work by Bartlett and West has been cheaper than expected:
Pavement samples taken from the existing highway indicate that much of it is in good condition and can be re-used in the repair and widening project.
