It didn’t take much time for reaction about the decision by the Kansas Supreme Court to leave the Congressional Redistricting Map, drawn by Republicans in the Legislature, to stand. Both sides, including U. S. Representative Sharice Davids came out with statements. Jim West with more:
The president of one of the groups that filed the suit, “Loud Light” called the ruling “a devastating blow to our Democracy”, while those in support of the maps called it necessary, due to the population shifts that had taken place over the past 10 years, driving more people into the metro areas.
