If the Ottawa City Commission gives its ok, Blessing Boxes around Downtown might get a big boost next year. During the Regular City Commission Study Session, Julie Riggins of the Goat Milk Soap Store, who also helps organize the Blessing Boxes, told Commissioners they need someplace to store food:
Riggins is asking the City to contribute $5,000 toward the new initiatives for Blessing boxes.
