There are a lot of really cool State Parks in Kansas–twenty eight State Parks to be exact. Whatever you interest, hiking, camping, wildlife watching, fishing, bike riding, horseback riding, hunting, or just relaxing, a Kansas State Park has what you’re looking for. Most require a Park Pass to get in and that cost sometimes keep people away. But, if you know the day you would like to visit a particular park, the Ottawa Library has you covered. They have Kansas State Park Passes available… for free. You do have to know what date you plan to use the Pass though. So, let’s say this weekend you want to explore Mushroom Rock, home of some of the most unusual rock formations anywhere; or, maybe just out to Pomona State Park to hang out with friends for the day. Head to the Ottawa Library, let them know what day you will go to the park and…bam!! You have your free pass
