An Anderson County High School graduate is one of only 44 high school seniors in the United States to receive a college scholarship from the Phillips 66 Dependent Scholarship Program. Madison Danner will receive a $16,000 scholarship from the organization.
The competitive program is open to outstanding college-bound students whose parents work for Phillips 66 and certain of it subsidiary companies. Madison is the daughter of Phillips 66 employee, Matthew Danner.
The scholarships are based on academic excellence, community service and financial need. The award reflects the company’s vision of improving lives and supporting its communities. Phillips 66 representatives say the company congratulates Madison on her exceptional academic achievements and dedication to community service, saying education is a core focus area for Phillips 66.
