With hundreds of thousands of undocumented migrants pouring across the U. S. – Mexico border, some might wonder whatever became of the Border Wall that was championed by former President Donald Trump. The answer is that construction on it stopped the moment President Biden took office. Apparently, many feel that is part of the problem we have now. Franklin County Sheriff Jeff Richards, recently paid a visit to the southern border, as a guest of Kansas Senator, Roger Marshall. Richards says when viewing the landscape from the Rio Grande River, some things stand out:
Richards says he has seen evidence of illegal drugs showing up in the local area, that can be traced back to drug cartel activity in Mexico.
