A chase that started in Osage County and ended in Franklin County has led to the arrest of three Kansas City men. Monday morning, May 5th, just after 4:00, an Osage County Sheriff’s Deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop at mile post 165 on I-35. The vehicle fled and a pursuit ensued. The vehicle proceeded into Franklin County and came to a stop at mile post 187, just outside of Ottawa, after it struck a tire deflating device deployed by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office. After stopping, the three subjects ran into a wooded area. Eventually all three were located and taken into custody.
Twenty six year old Ramar Brown was arrested on suspicion of possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, felony D–fleeing and eluding and felony interference. Twenty two year old Joron Brown and 30 year old Johnathon Daniel were arrested on suspicion of felony interference.
They were transported to the Osage County Jail facility.
