A major expansion for one of Ottawa’s industries. The longest running corporate business in the City, Kalmar, has announced it will expand its operations in Ottawa. Director of Operations for Kalmar, Alan Wilson, make the announcement, live, on KOFO yesterday, Monday, June 6, 2022:
Wilson adds that it is a great statement for the work force in the area. The expansion will allow for a second production line to be built for specialty orders and will double the production potential. The $19 million expansion is expected to be open by the end of the year and create 50 to 60 new jobs.
