Recent test scores for Ottawa students have revealed a somewhat uneven pace of learning for some students. the Ottawa School Board spent their Work Session reviewing some test results. Board Member Malydia Payne had a question for school officials:
School officials say it’s important to ensure a balance of making sure teachers stick to the approved learning plan; but, also allowing some autonomy in working to get students to a more consistent learning level.
