We all would admit that times are tough right now. Rising costs in pretty much every product imaginable. One product that is starting to affect us all greatly, is the cost of gasoline. As the price per gallon creeps close to five dollars a gallon, some people are worried they may not have the money to get to doctors appointment or even to work. If you have a low paying job, it makes it even tougher. The Blessing Box Foundation of Ottawa has started a new campaign. It’s called “Give a Gallon”. One of the most requested items from the Blessing Box Foundation are gas cards to help people get to work, the grocery store, or daycare.
The “Give A Gallon” campaign is asking for donations specifically for the purchase of gas cards. To donate, all you have to do is go to their web site “BLESSINGBOXKS.ORG/GIVEAGALLON”. from there, you can make a monetary donation to provide gas cards to those most vulnerable in our community, so they can continue employment.
