The man arrested last week for firing a gun at another vehicle on 59 Highway, north of Ottawa, has had the charge of attempted first-degree murder dropped and his bond reduced. Twenty-two year old Devin Fuller was arrested after he discharged a weapon from his vehicle at another, while chasing it southbound on 59 Highway at a high rate of speed. The criminal case against him was forwarded to the Franklin County Attorney’s office earlier this week. He was formally charged with criminal use of weapons, criminal threat, criminal discharge of a firearm and four counts of aggravated assault. The Franklin County Sheriff’s office says the investigation is on going, with new information being obtained daily. Because of this, no further information will be released at this time.
The original bond was set at one million dollars. Fuller is now being held in the Franklin County Jail on a $250,000 cash or surety bond.
