The U. S. Department of Agriculture Acting State Director for Rural Development Kansas, Dan Fischer, has announced that the USDA is putting 16 million, one hundred fifty five thousand dollars toward nine community projects across the state. Steve Olinghouse says there is a combination of Loans and Grants being used:

Projects must be in rural areas with a population of 10,000 or less. This latest round of distributions include over $13 million in loans and over $2.7 million in Grants.
