Two injury accidents over the weekend left four people in the hospital, both happening Friday, June 10th.
First, around 5:30 Friday afternoon, 53 year old Kenneth Noyons, of Melvern, was traveling northbound in the 3200 block of I-35 on a motorcycle, when an unknown vehicle merged onto the highway and cut him off, forcing him to leave the roadway and enter the center median before crashing across a concrete turnaround. Kenneth and his passenger, 46 year old Kimberly Noyons, were transported to Overland Park Regional Hospital for treatment of injuries they sustained in the crash.
The second accident occurred a few hours later, just before 10:00. Twenty two year old Shelby Guyett of Ottawa, was traveling east in the 3600 block of K-68, when the vehicle left the roadway, for an unknown reason, and struck a ditch, causing it to roll over. Guyette and the passenger, 25 year old Keith White of Ottawa, were transported to Advent Health Ottawa for treatment of injuries they sustained in the crash.
