Comments made by some neighbors who opposed the building of a duplex caused one Ottawa Planning Commission member to make some observations at the end of the Regular Planning Commission Meeting. Rudy Manes says parking in Ottawa is a big problem:
A request to build a duplex at 809 South Willow Street, brought a number of neighbors, who complained bitterly that the duplex would be ‘out of character’ with the neighborhood and would cause too heavy of traffic. The Planning Commission voted to recommend denial of the project.
