Big changes are coming for crisis line call takers as the date nears for the July 16th debut of the 988 Suicide Prevention Hotline number. A bigger number of calls, which is exactly what the new number was supposed to do. With more, here’s Bradley Jepsen:
In Kansas, the Lawrence Center has handled calls for 103 counties. The Wichita area also has a call center, as does Johnson County.
