Advent Health Ottawa has launched a $5.2 million expansion and renovation project that will grow services and physician specialties offered to Franklin County residents. The three phase project begins in June and is expected to be complete in late fall 2023.

The Gollier building, located at 9th and Main will undergo a complete transformation to house primary care, internal medicine, pediatrics, neurology, sleep medicine, rheumatology, among others, as part of the rural health clinic. The renovations will more than double the square footage available for medical services, creating space for future growth and an improved patient experience. Suites three and four of the Franklin County Annex will be renovated for rehab services, including physical, occupational and speech therapy. Advent Health Ottawa CEO, Dallas Purkeypile, says they want to ensure patients they see outside the hospital have great access to a range of services in buildings that represent the quality of care they will receive.

Once the renovation is complete, Advent Health Ottawa also expects to expand after-hours care, a service in demand for the community.
