Like everything else, the cost of insurance keeps going up. The Ottawa School Board approved a contract with EMC Insurance for liability that covers July 1, 2022 and runs through July 1, 2023. School Superintendent, Dr. Ryan Cobbs, says one interesting piece of the policy is cyber protection:
Total cost of the policy is around $338,500.
