Prairie Paws Animal Shelter is breathing a little easier after recent adoptions campaigns managed to find an excess of animals some good homes. Shelter Director, Vanessa Cowie, says a deluge of animals are being dumped on shelters nationwide.
Cowie says Prairie Paws is still taking in more animals, than being adopted, but for the moment the situation is manageable.
Prairie Paws held a Trivia Fundraiser last night, Monday, June 27th, at the Brew Pub in Overland Park. By all accounts it was a successful event. We will have details for you as they become available.
