The Richmond Free Fair is going on this week. A full range of activities today. The Swine Judging will be at 8:00 this morning, followed by Livestock Judging at 1:00 this afternoon. This evening, another incredible line up of athletic events for the kids, plus a couple contests you definitely don’t want to miss. First, the Annual Turtle Race. The slow pokes will race down the course at mind boggling speed, well, kind of. The winner will receive a cash prize. Next, the infamous Frog Jumping Contest. Longest jump wins the cash. Those events are followed by 20 different contests, from tennis ball throw to egg toss. Then at 7:30 some interesting contests for adults, including nail and screw driving, potato peeling, corn shucking and the famous Pie Eating Contest.
