The complete Ag Export Report and numbers are in for the month of May and though it wasn’t a record month, overall, it was a record for the month of May at over $17 billion. USDA Economist, Bart Kenner, says the first six months saw total Ag exports at $136.5 billion:
However, while the dollar amount is up, actual shipment volumes are down. Corn is down 8%, soybeans down 5% and wheat shipments are down 25%.
