Advent Health has officially opened for business in Paola. The new clinic had an open house and ribbon cutting last week and community members, the Paola Chamber of Commerce and some selected officials had a first look. the clinic is at 1401 Baptiste Drive, in the former Hibbett Sports Building. It was a complete rebuild of the space, to include patient waiting areas, welcome area, a nurses station and registration. The work began in November and took about six months to complete. The clinic will be home to longtime Paola doctor, Dr. Donald Banks, who offers Primary Care and Family Medicine. He and Nurse Practitioner Sarah Staughton, will treat children and adults of all ages in a wide range of health needs.
Advent Health also announced it will open a PT Solutions Clinic in the same building in August. The clinic will offer physical therapy for orthopedic and neurological conditions, manual therapist, concussion care, post-operative care, vestibular therapy, balance retraining and assessment, dry needling, running/gait analysis and sport specific training.
