The City of Ottawa has some big decisions to make in the upcoming weeks regarding the 2023 Budget. For one, they have to decide if they are going to go over the Revenue Neutral Rate. What’s that, you ask? Ottawa city Manager, Richard Nienstedt, with an explanation:
He adds that in the past, the budget had to be complete by late August, but with the new laws, it doesn’t have to be done until mid September. More Budget talks scheduled for today’s City Commission Study Session. The Study Session will be at 4:00 this afternoon, Monday, July 18, at City Hall. The public is welcome.
